Polyprint L-2008 M1 - CH

Medium-low viscous thickener for direct printing on cellulosic fibres with reactive dyes, based on pure sodium alginate. As sodium alginate is a naturally biodegradable polymer, the thickener is most ecological in use for reactive printing. Due to the very good flowablitiy, the thickener will show a very good penetrating behaviour. This will help to print with higher speed on rotary printing machines, increases the penetration of print paste on knit fabrics and also increases print quality by using fine mesh screens. The washablility and the viscosity stability of this grade are superior.

Dosage:

For direct print we recommend to use 40.0 – 50.0 g/kg (4.0 – 5.0%) in the print paste. (500 – 600 g of a 8.0% stock solution of POLYPRINT L-2008 M1 per kg print paste). If the thickener is used in combination with liquid synthetic thickeners we recommend to use 30 – 40 g/kg (3.0 – 4.0%) Polyprint L-2008 M1 together with 10 – 20 g/kg liquid synthetic thickener.
